Vivek Sharma

The Founder Behind Ishavasyam

With 5 years of experience in sales and marketing, Vivek Sharma worked with organisations including Matrix Cellular, HCL Infosystems and Kent RO before founding Ishavasyam.

But the roots of Ishavasyam go much deeper.

Vivek was born into a family closely connected with desi cows, village life and the Vedas. From an early age, he was exposed to the simplicity of rural living, traditional Indian practices and the values rooted in our ancient traditions.

Those early influences stayed with him, even as life took him into the corporate world.

While working a regular job and living with his parents, he saw them struggle with recurring health concerns such as diabetes, joint pains and heart problems. They consulted doctors and tried different approaches, yet the problems continued to return.

This made him pause and look beyond the usual approaches. He began asking himself a simple question:

What was different about the way our ancestors lived, ate and cared for themselves?

This led him back to the Vedas, ancient Indian traditions and traditional foods.

What began as a personal search gradually became a purpose — to bring back the goodness of traditional Indian foods, made with time-honoured methods and honest intent.

That purpose became Ishavasyam.

Vaishali Bishnoi

Alongside ISHAVASYAM

Born into the Bishnoi community, Vaishali grew up with a deep respect for nature, animals and traditional Indian values.

As Vivek's wife, she has been a strong and steady presence in the journey of Ishavasyam — bringing her own values and perspective to a shared belief in living closer to nature and our traditions.

Her presence is woven closely into the story of Ishavasyam — a story rooted in nature, tradition and a simpler way of living.
